120-0537/06 EU Cohesion Policy (2018/2019 LS)

The aim of the course is to introduce students the major determinants and principles of EU Cohesion Policy, programming process and development of programming documents for EU Structural and Investment Funds (ESI Funds) and operational framework of structural aid in economic development of the regions in the EU. Main focus will be laid on the system of programming documents for regional development management, types of ESI Funds interventions and methodology of programming logics. Students will be also acquainted with the management of the programmes and implementation of structural actions. The end of the course is fulfilling with reformed architecture of EU Cohesion Policy in programming period 2014–2020.
